I often characterized Steve Jobs as the greatest CEO presenter of all time. When he died, I thought, “No one will ever be able to take his place and maybe I should sell my Apple stock ;-).” But after 3 years at the helm, Tim Cook is finally making presentations worth watching.’
He’s still not as good as Jobs was, but he’s much better, the result of getting out there and just doing it. And, of course, Apple rarely disappoints with it’s products and innovation, not to mention the glorious graphics.
This can be you, too. If you’re struggling with speaking, know that you get better with practice and it’s on-the-job training. Of course, a little coaching wouldn’t hurt and I’m certain Cook has his people.
